Dr. William Fitzmaurice has been in practice in Elmhurst for over 20 years. He grew up in the Chicago area, received his Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from the University of Illinois. He served an internship at the Maricopa County Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and did his OB-GYN residency at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Fitzmaurice is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has been the Chairman of the OB-GYN Department at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital as well as Chairman of the Quality Assurance Committee.

Dr. Fitzmaurice provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care to low- and high-risk women of all ages. His approach to patient care is based on treating every patient as he would treat his own relatives.

Dr. Fitzmaurice is married and has 2 children. Outside of work he enjoys ice skating, skiing and Lake Michigan beaches.
